So You Only Played Today - 23rd January
An opportunity to find out what is meant by playful learning, what it requires of the adult and how it prepares children for lifelong learning. The sessions will cover: -
23rd January Session: Discover the importance of playful learning experiences in the EYFS and what these might look like - theory into practice. We will explore high quality ‘play’ based activities that challenge children to move forward in their learning and discover how to create an effective ‘playful’ learning environment.
Next Sessions …
13th February Session: Discover the role of the adults in your setting during ‘playful’ learning experiences and how they can be used effectively to enable good quality teaching and learning experiences that have significant impact on children’s progress.
6th March Session: Opportunity to discuss and share ways in which adults observe, assess and support playful learning.
20th March Session: Discover how you can transform or tailor your ‘playful’ teaching and learning experiences to engage and motivate boys in your setting. How do we ensure that boys achieve their full potential and achieve the ELGs
3rd April Session: Opportunity to discuss and explore a curriculum that emphasises amplification rather than acceleration by presenting challenges without frustrating or overwhelming leading to better outcomes for all children.
