DESCRIPTION:

3 day course on effective behaviour management strategies, self-regulation and transition.

Day One:  Markeaton Park Craft Village Community Room, Wendy Colebourne & Caroline Roberts. Preventing challenging behaviour rather than reacting to it, including our top ten tips for successful behaviour management.

Day Two: Markeaton Park Craft Village Community Room, Wendy Colebourne & Caroline Roberts. The notion that self-regulation is the key to successful future learning enabling children to plan, focus, carry out instructions and manage frustrations. We will focus on supporting children to develop the ability to self-regulate by encouraging creative play & social connection through physical activity and through opportunities for choice and decision-making.

Day Three:  St Giles School, Becky Green, Transition into a new classroom.
