TO QUESTION OR NOT TO QUESTION: THIS IS THE ANSWER

DESCRIPTION:

Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage need adult support to develop their 'learning behaviours'. This half day course for EYFS Leaders & Teaches will explore why questioning may not always be the best strategic to develop children's learning. Research shows that adults can question children too often which interrupts their thinking & learning. Delegates will have the opportunity to consider other strategies including pole-bridging, contingent talk & learning conversations which may then lead to sustained shared thinking.
