"A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle" James Keller
Each school to school project will involve an initial conversation to identify need. This will be taken to the Director of the Alliance to discuss the most effective support available for the school.
An action plan will be drawn up identifying roles, expectations timescale and monitoring tailored to your school and settings needs.
All costs for the support programme will reflect the alliances charging policy. It is vital to highlight that no school will be able to provide the support for free, as this places an unfair burden on the supporting school. This is to ensure that all money allocated to each school is spent on its own children.
A deployment could be for an hour, a day, a few days or much longer – depending on what you need. The time can be arranged as consecutive days or spread over a longer period. If a longer deployment is agreed, we are open to negotiate on rates.
We are also able to offer one-off visits to see specific practice in our schools / settings, for example through ‘learning walks’, lesson observations and discussions with staff.
Any school can commission a school to school support project by contacting Laura Baddiley at Harrington Nursery School via email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01332 769821.
